Motter's Music, Inc. - Lease Contract
For the purpose of detaermining whether my child has the ability to play a musical instrument, Motter's Music, Inc. agrees to lease with option to purchase the following:

If an additional lease is desired we will continue to lease on the basis as above until the instrument is paid for.
At the end of the lease period Motter's Music, Inc. agrees to credit all lease payments toward the purchase price of the instrument leased.
If a leased instrument is purchased at any time, all lease fees paid plus an additional 30% discount will be allowed from the balance due. If needed, terms of purchase can be arranged.

OPTIONAL LOSS AND DAMAGE PlAN:
As a means of helping our customers with Loss or Damage claims with their own insurance companies, Motter's Music will offer a Deductible Buyback Option. If a claim is made with an insurance company for the Loss or Damage of an instrument, Motter's Music will pay the insurance company's deductible toward the balance of the lessee contract and replace the instrument with one of equal quality or make any repairs that would be needed. Loss and Damage fees do not apply toward purchase of leased instrument.

Loss and Damage Coverage Terms:
The loss and damage plan is optional. The lessee may at any time cancel the plan. Loss and Damage fees do not apply toward the purchase of the instrument.
1) The deterioration of appearance (scratches, minor dents, finish) is not covered insofar as it does not affect the playing of the instrument.
2) Accessories (reeds, straps, sticks, strings, etc.) are not covered.
3) An instrument totally destroyed by fire or accidental damage, or lost by theft will be replaced with an instrument of equal value (as of the time of loss) provided reasonable proof of such loss is presented and the theft is reported to the local police within 24 hours of discovery of the theft.
4) All adjustments and repairs must be made by Motter's Music, Inc. Do not attempt any repairs on your own or take the instrument to an outside source for repair as it will void the coverage.
5) A claim for repair or replacement does not alter the Lease/Purchase agreement.
6) The instrument is only protected when all fees are paid to date.

Optional Loss and Damage Fees:

One (1) Month Lease
Group 1 & 2 - $2.50 payable in one month increments.
Group 3, 4 & 5 - $4.50 payable in one month increments.

Three (3) Month Lease
Group 1 & 2 - $7.50 payable in three month increments.
Group 3, 4 & 5 - $13.50 payable in three month increments.

Nine (9) Month Trial
Group 2 - $22.50
Group 3 - $40.50
One time payment

I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE LOSS AND DAMAGE PLAN.

Where less than full size (4/4) stringed instruments are leased, we will at any time, during the lease only, allow exchange to a different size of comparable make, quality and kind. When lease payments are completed, and instrument is owned, Motter's Music, Inc. will allow 50% trade-in toward the purchase of a new instrument of the same kind (at current manufacturer's suggested list price) at any time in the future.

Title to the instrument shall remain with Motter's Music, Inc. until the purchase is made by the lessee. If lease payment is not received within 10 days from the due date, all previous lease payments will not be allowed toward the purchase price. Positively no refunds on any lease fees paid. If the lessee is more than 15 days late in the payment of the lease, Motter's Music, Inc. may at its option terminate this agreement, repossess the instrument and collect the late fees that are due, and hold the lessee liable for any costs incurred in the collection of fees, including attorney's fees. We reserve the right to repossess the instrument leased if payment is not on time.

Maintenance during the lease period is free. This includes any adjustments and normal maintenance required to keep the instrument in playing condition. Any damage due to negligence and any major dents will be assessed at the time of return of the instrument.
If Payment is not received within two weeks of due date, Motter's Music will charge payment on to your credit card.
